One of India's most spectacular waterfalls, located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Water cascades from great heights, especially during monsoon season. The name "Dudhsagar" means "sea of milk" — the frothy white water looks like a river of milk.

Note: Access is by jeep from Kulem. Best visited June to October.
Netravali Waterfalls in Sanguem, Goa

A major biodiversity hotspot home to tigers, leopards, elephants, and rich flora and fauna. It's the largest protected area in Goa and includes the famous Dudhsagar Waterfalls within its boundaries. Also home to the historic Devil's Canyon and the 12th-century Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple.

Don't Miss: The Tambdi Surla Temple — one of the oldest stone temples in Goa, hidden deep within the sanctuary.

Best Time: Early mornings — climb the watchtower for a chance to spot animals at the watering hole.

How to Explore Kushavati District

Distance from Baga

Approximately 50–70 km from Hotel Viva Baga, depending on which Taluka you visit. Best done as a 1–2 day trip.

Best Time

October to February for beaches. June to October for waterfalls and wildlife (monsoon magic).
